New Adventures
In January of this year, both Ashley and I accompanied a dear friends, Danny and Shara Chalmers to the Berkley area where we part of their ministry team. This was a tremendous blessing as Ashley and I were both activated in the prophetic along with healing and signs and wonders. There were approximately 180 people in attendance and we know that God moved in wonderful ways as stated in the following testimony:
“The building shut down t 11pm. Danny Chalmers and I went to sleep. But the students were so hungry for Jesus and so desperate for revival in America they went out in the floods in the storm and they found a shelter on their own. They started encountering the Lord and crying out for America until 2am in the floods”.
There is something so tangible about this experience that it has marked both Ashley and I for life!
This year, both Ashley and I have been accepted to go on ministry and mission’s trips. Ashely will be able to travel to Sierra Leone with a group from BSSM. This will be a life changing trip for her as she will be able to minister to all occupations and walks of life and will be able to see God move in marvelous ways. I expect that her world view will change in many ways.
I have been invited to travel to Asia for a mission’s trip. I will be with a group who will coordinate with others who are already on the ground in Asia who are ministering to unreached people groups. I have also been invited to Argentina to minister in an established church and to bring what I have learned and obtained at BSSM. Most of all, I believe that I will learn more than I could have ever expect and that I will leave Argentina changed. One thing that I have learned about ministry trips is that you always change for the better and that you learn more about yourself and what you are made of when you go with the intention that God will change you.
Spring Is Upon Us
Here in California, it is in the raining season. The drought seems like it is almost over as some of the streets will flash flood. This is something that I have been praying for in my life and for my family and friends. To be flooded with the love of the Creator, to become so saturated by the spirit of God that we are always being changed to a better version of ourselves. Let Spring awaken a new season and a give us a fresh and new perspective. This is the verse that has been on our hearts as we enter into a new season:
“Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to
Have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
How blessed are all those who long for Him” Isaiah 30:18
Prayer Requests
As this year is well underway, please pray for us as our family continues to walk in the direction of love for one another and for our community. Please pray that we are able to raise funds for our ministry trips, pray for our health and continued healing, and pray for our family in general. We truly love each and every one of you. You all are a part of our hearts and we couldn’t be happier to have you in our lives.
